Howden is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its core. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Analyst to support the delivery of Finance System Integrations. This role bridges finance operations and IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across our global finance landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document and understand data/process needs for finance system requirements.
  • Report, write, and document As‑is and To‑be processes, including SOPs.
  • Research and support new finance system implementations.
  • Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes.
  • Assist and train finance and accounting team members on system usage and process documentation.
  • Unit test, reconcile, and verify data for project activities.
  • Present solution/reconciliation outputs to senior level stakeholders.
  • Support finance and audit requirements as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous BA experience in Finance Systems, Finance Transformation, and/or Systems implementation projects/programmes.
  • Experience with Lucidchart, Visio, or other BPM documentation tools.
  • Ability to challenge the status‑quo constructively, standardise data/process, and address controls and risks.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance systems/projects.
  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong background in multi‑entity and multi‑currency environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
