Graduate Programme – Credit Risk Solutions Team

Location: London
Start date: September 2026
Closing date: Friday 5th June
Working structure: 4 days in office
Salary: £40,000

Responsibilities

  • Support drafting contractual documentation for risk transfer between banks and insurers.
  • Assist with taking accurate meeting notes and updating client files.
  • Learn the end‐to‐end transaction lifecycle, including understanding our policy framework for insured loans.
  • Research and vet underlying borrowers, review contracts and assess credit profiles and financial health.
  • Support managing policies once secured, including handling amendments.
  • Gain exposure to client and insurer interactions, learning how experts advise and negotiate the best deals.
  • Actively participate in business origination, supporting client proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Soon‐to‐be or recent graduates from STEM, Finance or Law backgrounds.
  • Interest in geopolitical finance.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, comfortable managing large sums of money.
  • Attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders.
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
  • Curiosity and quick learning of technical concepts.
  • Proficient data analysis using Excel.
