The AI Governance Analyst supports the safe and responsible use of AI across Howden. The role reports to the Head of AI Governance and works closely with business stakeholders to deliver governance processes, assess use cases, and embed practical controls aligned with the AI governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the AI governance framework, standards and guidance.
- Support the implementation of practical controls to ensure safe and responsible use of AI across the business.
- Assist in embedding governance processes in day‑to‑day operations.
- Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI use cases, including intake, triage, risk assessment, approval tracking and ongoing review.
- Gather required information from stakeholders to apply governance standards consistently.
- Refine workflows and frameworks, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Drive adoption of governance tooling across the organisation.
- Own regular reporting on AI use (sanctioned/unsanctioned), risk exposure and governance activity.
- Contribute materials prepared for governance forums and intranet sites.
- Maintain awareness of emerging AI regulatory developments that may impact the organisation and update internal frameworks and controls in response to regulatory change.
