This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract supporting Howden’s global digital transformation, a key strategic enabler of the 30:30 vision for Howden Re. The role involves driving business change activities across the programme and supporting adoption of a new broking solution. You will be based in our Central London office with a hybrid work pattern and may have some travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Change Planning and Delivery
- Plan and implement the change strategy.
- Develop interventions such as change impact assessment.
- Create clear, compelling communication and training materials.
- Stakeholder Management
- Stakeholder mapping and analysis.
- Identify and mitigate resistance to change.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide regular updates and reports on change progress.
- Change Impact Assessment & Business Readiness
- Conduct thorough impact assessments with the Programme Team.
- Prioritise areas of impact and readiness criteria.
- Drive business readiness to ensure successful implementation.
- Communications Management
- Support the delivery of the communication plan at programme and local levels.
- Produce and maintain effective communication channels and materials.
- Build a network of people within the programme who can communicate changes.
- Training & Development
- Collaborate with training specialists to develop and deliver training programs.
- Own and drive the training schedule, adapting as required.
- Metrics & Evaluation
- Measure change initiatives through KPIs and evaluate progress.
- Use feedback and data to continuously improve change management.
- Adoption Reporting
- Support adoption reporting integrated into benefits realisation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar change management role, delivering change for complex global programmes.
- Strong change management skills with a focus on timely delivery.
- Experience working with teams and individuals impacted by organisational changes.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, able to work with senior managers in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, able to craft clear, engaging content for diverse, global audiences.
- Experience in Reinsurance and/or Insurance is beneficial.
- Experience with broking platforms (e.g., OpenTWINS) is beneficial.
- A certification in change management is desirable.
