Overview
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Integration Specialist. Dual North America is one of the leading insurance underwriters in the United States. This role focuses on design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise integrations, with deep expertise in Informatica IDMC, API Manager, API Portal, and Integration Hub. The successful candidate will be both a hands-on technical expert and a strategic influencer, collaborating with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions that support business agility, speed-to-market, and underwriting efficiency. This role will mentor and train team members, advancing the organization’s integration maturity.
Location: Remote. Salary range: $150,000-$170,000. Hiring Manager: SVP Application Development.
Role responsibilities
- Application & Data Integration: Design, develop, and implement robust integrations using Informatica IDMC. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable integration solutions. Lead end-to-end integration projects, ensuring high-quality delivery that aligns with business outcomes. Partner with enterprise architects to define integration standards and ensure architectural compliance.
- API Management: Design, develop, secure, and manage APIs using Informatica API Manager. Implement best practices for API security, versioning, lifecycle management, and performance optimization. Collaborate with front-end, back-end, and Salesforce developers to ensure APIs enable business workflows effectively.
- API Portal & Developer Enablement: Set up, maintain, and continuously improve the Informatica API Portal. Publish and manage accessible API documentation to enable internal and external developers. Provide technical guidance and training to API consumers and internal developers.
- Integration Hub & Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement data synchronization and event-driven integrations using Informatica Integration Hub. Ensure real-time, event-driven data consistency across Salesforce, underwriting, policy, and other systems. Work with DevOps to build automated monitoring and alerting for integration pipelines.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the subject matter expert for IDMC and integration best practices. Mentor and train team members on IDMC capabilities and integration design. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and security teams to align integrations with organizational goals and compliance needs.
Key requirements
Required
- 7+ years of experience in application integration, with 3+ years specializing in Informatica IDMC.
- Proven expertise in Informatica API Manager, API Portal, and Integration Hub.
- Strong proficiency with RESTful and SOAP APIs, including security protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with insurance applications, underwriting processes, and Salesforce integration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Azure and cloud-native integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Informatica Data Integration, Data Quality, Governance, and Master Data Management.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Experience in C# or Python for supplemental integration or automation scripting.
