Job Purpose: To manage products which deliver on profitability and income plans, whilst ensuring we meet all regulatory standards. Eridge has a significant interim objective of achieving £100m NWP within a maximum of 3 years - this role will be instrumental in ensuring we achieve this goal profitably. We must act in a compliant manner protecting the interests of customers and business stakeholders including Capacity Providers and Shareholders.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing analysis and development of existing products.
- Carry out detailed assessments of products, identifying positive and negative trends and present fully justified recommendations for improving individual rating factors and acceptance criteria.
- Responsibility for developing new Broker propositions, including Insurer Account switches and existing Product version opportunities and New Products.
- Take an active role in developing current initiatives for Eridge, such as Courier, Telematics and EV’s.
- In conjunction with colleagues, ensure Broker presentations are complete, credible and up to date.
- Evaluate in a timely manner which propositions are worthy of investing time and energy, then manage such propositions up to launch and beyond.
- Seek out and recommend business opportunities and evaluate market or regulation initiatives which may impact the company.
- Monitor claims trends, establish why unexpected claims patterns are emerging, quantify issues and recommend changes.
