The Role
The individual will be responsible for driving the digital strategy and leading its implementation across the Credit and Political Risks (CPRI) business. Collaborating closely with the senior management team, the role aims to enhance shareholder value and foster team development through strategic use of technology and digital tools.
What you\'ll do
Executing CPRI’s digital strategy in alignment with strategic goals and business plans
Managing budgets and allocating resources effectively to meet performance targets
Acting as a technical authority for CPRI’s clients and insurers.
Working collaboratively with multiple CPRI sub-teams to deliver digital initiatives
Supporting and mentoring junior team members to build capabilities across the division
This leadership position calls for a hands-on expert who combines product knowledge with strategic vision and a passion for team development.
Key Accountabilities
Drive the commercial strategy and development of CPRI’s technology
Promote broker adoption for digital solutions across CPRI and act as key contact for all brokers
Be conduit and stakeholder for Tepfin X (CPRI’s digital trading platform), working closely with the development team
Sourcing new technology opportunities which enhance CPRI’s clients experience and help CPRI to win new business
Manage relationships with clients’ own technology teams and align our offering with their needs
Support RFI/RFP situations, acting as a spokesperson for our technology offering
Guide the management team in understanding and assessing technology opportunities.
Work with CPRI to plan the most appropriate technology solutions for the client’s demands and needs
Share specialist knowledge with wider team
Oversee data collection initiatives to support analytics and reporting
Operational & Broking Responsibilities
Support broking teams in providing efficient digital solutions to their clients
Drive business growth, maximise shareholder value and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
Meet agreed target technology budget
Participate in management meetings, as required, reporting on business progress within their area of expertise
Contributes to the development of effective operational systems and processes
Manages assigned projects and contributes to other projects
Provide management insight and contribute to business planning
Negotiate with insurers to provide the best balance of quality, service and price
Who we’re looking for
Experience of working within insurance sector
Familiarity with data and emerging technologies in insurance
Proven success in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Strong grasp of P&L dynamics and business performance levers
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive transformation and innovation
Organisational agility and people leadership with integrity
Sound judgement and effective problem-solving
Qualifications
GCSE Math’s and English (or equivalent)
Additional relevant certifications or degrees in business, technology, or insurance are advantageous
