To serve an apprenticeship whilst receiving training and mentoring in order to assemble and test components to a very high standard, satisfying customer quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and Test components from engineering drawings and instructions while working within company Quality and HSE procedures.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to keep a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain 5S standards set by the company at all times.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Apply problem solving skills.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

  • Follow and execute the training plan set by the company or college.
  • Achieve milestones set by the company or college in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs including Maths or Science. Any additional qualifications would be desirable.
