Lead and manage all aspects of end-to-end supply chain operations ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant flow of materials and components to support highly regulated manufacturing and programme requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA/EASA requirements).
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with approved suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to align supply chain activities with production schedules and technical requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production continuity, especially for critical and long-lead-time components.
- Ensure full traceability of parts and materials in compliance with aerospace safety and quality standards.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring supply chain readiness and supplier capability.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and aerospace program timelines.
Competencies
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (AS9100, FAA/EASA, ITAR/EAR) with the ability to ensure full compliance across the supply chain.
- Skilled in developing, evaluating, and managing suppliers, including conducting audits, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement.
- Proactive identification of supply chain risks (e.g., single-source suppliers, geopolitical issues) and implementation of robust contingency plans.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex agreements while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance processes and strict traceability requirements for aerospace parts and materials.
- Capability to respond quickly and effectively to supply disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on production and delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with aerospace components, manufacturing processes, and engineering requirements to support informed decision-making.

Job Requirements Qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager within the Aerospace industry for 3-5 years.
