As a key member, you will be the face of Howards Accountants for clients, communicating via various channels including face to face, software, and email.
Key Responsibilities:- Greeting clients in the office and establishing their needs
- Taking client calls and emails and responding accordingly
- Booking client records into software and requesting missing information
- Using a variety of software to ensure compliance
- Liaising with HMRC
- Scanning correspondence, service address and working papers
- Updating and managing client records, including phone numbers, emails, deadlines, personal information
- Ad hoc tasks as requested
- Experience using Xero is preferred
- Experience in using Outlook, Excel, and cloud based software is essential
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Be highly efficient and organised
- Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
- The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Perform tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner
- A permanent full-time position within our team
