Role Description The Property Valuer is a full-time, on-site role based in Great Yarmouth, responsible for assessing and valuing residential properties for sale and letting. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market appraisals, inspecting properties, preparing accurate valuation reports, and advising clients on pricing, presentation, and marketing strategies. The role involves liaising with sellers, buyers, delivering clear information and guidance to help them make informed decisions. The Property Valuer will work closely with the branch team to support listings, attend accompanied viewings when required, and ensure that valuations align with current market conditions and company standards. Maintaining high levels of customer service, professionalism, and local market knowledge is essential to achieving performance and client satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- Strong background in estate agency or residential property, with experience working for Estate Agents or in a similar real estate role.
- Proficiency in Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation, including conducting market appraisals and producing accurate, evidence-based valuation reports.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, explain complex information clearly, and manage client expectations.
- Solid understanding of local property markets, sales and lettings processes, and relevant regulations and best practices.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple appointments, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfortable using property-related software and online marketing platforms; competent in general IT and Microsoft Office tools.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for property visits and valuations.
- Relevant qualifications in property, real estate, or a related field are beneficial; ongoing professional development and industry memberships are an advantage.
