We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Property / Real Estate Finance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, developing, and managing relationships with property developers, investors, brokers, and professional introducers to generate high-quality lending and financing opportunities.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of property finance products, and a proven ability to convert relationships into revenue.
Key responsibilities:- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within property and real estate finance markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property developers, investors, brokers, solicitors, accountants, and other introducers.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of lending opportunities across residential, commercial, and development finance.
- Present finance solutions tailored to client needs, including bridging loans, development finance, mezzanine finance, and term loans.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients and partners.
- Work closely with credit, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage deals through to completion.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to promote the business.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or relationship management within property finance, real estate lending, or banking.
- Strong network within the property and real estate sector.
- Solid understanding of property finance products and deal structures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially astute with strong financial literacy.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
