This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior IT Training & Adoption Assistant to play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality training, learning solutions and digital content across the firm.

The role is designed to build confidence in technology, encourage best practice and support the adoption of both existing and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.

Working alongside the IT Business Partner - Education & Change, IT Trainer, project teams and stakeholders.

Build strong relationships across the firm to understand learning needs, promote training opportunities and support effective use of technology and business systems.

Previous IT training experience is not essential.

  • Main responsibilities
  • Work closely with the IT Business Partner - Education & Change and IT Trainer to support training priorities, upcoming system changes, rollout plans and business readiness requirements.
  • Create, update and maintain engaging training materials and digital learning content, including guides, videos, presentations and other learning resources.
  • Support induction and onboarding for new joiners, including IT systems, information security basics and ways of working, helping to establish strong habits and a consistent baseline of knowledge from the outset.
  • Support the delivery of IT systems training for new starters and existing colleagues across core tools, including i Manage Work, Microsoft 365, Teams, Intapp Time and other firm applications.
  • Co-deliver classroom and virtual training sessions, providing follow-up coaching and guidance to individuals and small groups where required.
  • Support adoption initiatives, including AI-enabled tools, by raising awareness, encouraging best practice and helping colleagues use technology confidently and effectively.
  • Signpost colleagues to appropriate support resources, including self-service materials, knowledge content and the IT Service desk.
  • Help drive technology adoption through practical, well-timed training that builds confidence, reinforces good habits, supports standard ways of working and addresses resistance early.
  • Collect and analyse feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning materials, delivery methods and user adoption.
  • Support the testing of new and enhanced IT platforms, providing feedback and ensuring training materials accurately reflect the end-user experience.
  • Maintain accurate training records and actively participate in ongoing learning, development, mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities.

About you

  • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and colleague-friendly way.
  • A proactive, organised and adaptable approach, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building positive relationships and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A positive, service-focused mindset with a genuine passion for helping colleagues build confidence in technology.
  • An interest in training, learning and development, with a desire to support the successful adoption of digital tools and ways of working.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and a commitment to promoting their effective and responsible use.
  • Experience supporting colleagues with technology, systems, business processes, training or learning activities within a professional environment.
  • An interest in Learning and Development, training, coaching or education, with any relevant qualifications or experience being beneficial but not essential
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Exposure to legal technology platforms such as i Manage Work, Intapp Time, Titan File, Litera tools, pdf Docs or Compare Docs would be advantageous.
  • Awareness of digital content creation tools and AI-enabled productivity solutions would be desirable, although training will be provided.
