Location: Broughton / Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £55,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Howard James Recruitment are working with an exciting and rapidly growing technology-led business to recruit an experienced Finance Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking for a broad and hands-on role within an innovative and fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in supporting strategic growth plans.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, covering everything from day-to-day finance operations through to board reporting, forecasting and financial planning.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting processes using Xero, including invoicing, supplier payments, expenses and reconciliations
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Managing expenses and company card processes
  • Processing payroll and liaising with external payroll providers
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
  • Running month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
