The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will be involved in a variety of accounting tasks, helping to ensure accuracy across financial records and contributing to efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders and payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconciling financial transactions and maintaining up-to-date records within the accounting system
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including preparation of reports
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations and assisting with petty cash management
  • Providing support with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Acting as a point of contact for supplier and customer queries, resolving issues efficiently
  • Assisting with payroll administration and VAT return preparation
  • Ensuring adherence to internal procedures
