Part-Time Bookkeeper – Chester (Office-Based) Flexible Hours | 16–22 Hours per Week
We’re working with an ambitious and fast-growing financial services business based in Chester, currently seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-driven individual looking for flexibility, while still playing a key role within a dynamic and evolving organisation.
The Opportunity
Our client has quickly established itself as a recognised name within the financial services sector, operating across international markets and multiple asset classes. With continued growth and investment, they are now looking to strengthen their finance function with a reliable and organised Bookkeeper. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external accountants, helping to ensure the smooth and accurate running of day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Input invoices, receipts, and expenses into Xero
- Carry out monthly bank and ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records
- Support the preparation of financial reports
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
- Assist with month-end processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using Xero (essential)
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload
- Professional and discreet when handling financial information
Working Hours & Location
- 16–22 hours per week with flexibility on how these are worked
- 100% office-based in Chester
