Howard Finley Care is recruiting for a new Maintenance Man to work within our client's nursing home in Westerham.
Maintenance Man Vacancy Details:
- £14 per hour
- 40 hours per week available
- 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri shifts
- On call requirement (to be discussed with employer)
Maintenance Man Main Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs throughout the nursing home to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
- Carry out scheduled inspections and assessments of equipment, fixtures, and the building's overall condition.
- Address urgent repair requests promptly, including plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain records of inspections and repairs.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of the home's maintenance plan.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure minimal disruption to residents during maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and replenish stock for maintenance supplies and equipment.
Requirements for the Maintenance Man Role:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role, preferably in a care or nursing home setting.
