We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly team in Beckenham on a part-time, long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and confident Dental Nurse who is looking for a stable position within a professional and well-established dental practice.
The successful candidate will be working Mondays and Wednesdays, providing high-quality chairside support and patient care while helping to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
The Role:
- Located in Beckenham
- Hours: 8:45am – 5:45pm
- Pay Rate: Up to £16.00 per hour, (depending on experience)
- Software: SOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and professional chairside support to the dentist.
- Prepare surgeries, instruments and materials for a range of dental procedures.
- Provide excellent and compassionate patient care throughout the patient journey.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.
- Ensure surgeries and clinical areas are clean, organised and fully prepared.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow practice procedures.
- Manage clinical stock and ensure materials are available when required.
- Work effectively as part of the wider dental team.
- Use SOE software confidently for clinical and administrative duties.
- Follow all relevant practice, GDC and regulatory requirements.
- Support the smooth and efficient running of the surgery.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a fully qualified Dental Nurse with relevant GDC registration.
- Has previous experience working in a dental practice.
- Has implant experience or implant nursing training.
- Has excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is professional, reliable, organised and punctual.
- Has a caring and reassuring manner with patients.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains high standards of infection control and clinical practice.
- Is looking for a stable, long-term part-time position.
