Job Opportunity: Full-Time Dental Nurse

Location: St Neots

Salary: £13.52+ per hour (this is dependent on experience and how the interview goes)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clinicians during general, restorative, surgical, and sedation procedures, ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation procedures in accordance with current guidelines and best practice.
  • Take, process, and manage dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with IRMER regulations.
  • Prepare sedation equipment and medication, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, sedation logs, and consent documentation.
  • Support decontamination and infection control processes, ensuring compliance with CQC and HTM 01-05 standards.
  • Provide chairside support for a wide range of dental treatments, including complex and multidisciplinary cases.
  • Offer reassurance and guidance to nervous or anxious patients undergoing sedation.
  • Ensure all equipment, instruments, and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and support the smooth running of the practice.
