Job Opportunity: Full-Time Dental Nurse
Location: Soho
Salary: £16 to £18 per hour (this is dependent on experience and how the interview goes, but salary is competitive)
Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians during general, restorative, surgical, and sedation procedures, ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation procedures in accordance with current guidelines and best practice.
- Take, process, and manage dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with IRMER regulations.
- Prepare sedation equipment and medication, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, sedation logs, and consent documentation.
- Support decontamination and infection control processes, ensuring compliance with CQC and HTM 01-05 standards.
- Provide chairside support for a wide range of dental treatments, including complex and multidisciplinary cases.
- Offer reassurance and guidance to nervous or anxious patients undergoing sedation.
- Ensure all equipment, instruments, and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and support the smooth running of the practice.
