Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Support worker to work within our brand-new residential care home.
Support worker vacancy details:
- £13.37 per hour
- 40 hours per week available
- Nights positions available
- Working Hours for nights: 9:00 to 7:30pm
Support worker main duties:
- Provide person-centered support to individuals in their daily routines, helping them achieve their personal goals.
- Assist with activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, personal care, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any changes in service users' needs or behaviour.
- Support individuals to access their local community and build meaningful relationships.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in support worker roles specialising in mental health is preferred but not required - will take on someone with no mental health experience as they have an excellent training programme.
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with service users.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins if required.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
