Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Support worker to work within our brand new residential care home.

£13.25 per hour
40 hours per week available
Day shift position available
Nights positions available
Short shifts and long shifts available
night shifts 8 – 8
specialises in challenging behaviours , LD and autism Support worker main duties:

Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered support to individuals in their daily routines, helping them achieve their personal goals.
Assist with activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, personal care, and medication administration.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any changes in service users\’ needs or behavior.
Support individuals to access their local community and build meaningful relationships.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users.

Requirements:

Previous experience in support worker roles specialising in mental health is essential.
A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with service users.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins if required.
