We are looking for a professional and experienced Head Dental Receptionist to join our team and take charge of front desk operations at our dental practice. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a patient-focused approach, and strong leadership to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the reception desk, ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment for patients
  • Manage appointment scheduling and ensure optimal diary management using Carestack software
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering excellent customer service and handling enquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the smooth processing of patient information
  • Lead and support the reception team, providing guidance and training as necessary
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Handle payments, billing enquiries, and insurance processing efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental reception or front desk management role
  • Strong proficiency in practice management software, particularly Carestack or similar platforms such as Dentally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage patient interactions professionally
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and support a reception team
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in handling patient records and scheduling
  • Knowledge of dental treatments and terminology is preferred
