We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team within a 31-bedded residential care home in Wolverhampton. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while maintaining high standards of person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and repositioning
  • Conduct regular night checks to ensure residents' safety and wellbeing
  • Support residents with mobility and continence needs
  • Accurately complete care records and night reports
  • Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
  • Maintain a calm, quiet, and reassuring environment
  • Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety policies

Requirements

  • Previous care experience preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Medication training (desirable)
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
  • Ability to work independently during night hours
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
