Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum + Ofsted bonuses (Dual Registration). Up to £48,000 per annum + Ofsted bonuses (Single Registration)

Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working on behalf of our client in Wolverhampton to recruit an experienced and motivated Dual Registered Manager to oversee two children's residential homes supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager who is ready to take the next step into dual registration. The homes are located close to one another, allowing for effective oversight, strong leadership presence, and consistent standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee two children's residential homes, ensuring safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for young people with EBD.
  • Lead, support, and develop staff teams across both services, promoting a positive and accountable culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, quality assurance, and Ofsted standards.
  • Prepare for, lead, and respond effectively to Ofsted inspections, driving continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to maintain high performance and achieve positive outcomes for young people.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children's residential care (EBD preferred).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Previous experience of going through an Ofsted inspection - essential.
  • Ambition and capability to move into a dual registration role.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage two homes in close proximity.
