We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Westerham. This is a full-time, day shift position (36 hours per week) supporting individuals with varying needs, promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality person-centred support in line with individual care plans
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting where required
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, household duties, and medication administration
  • Encourage independence, choice, and community engagement
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a support worker or care assistant role preferred
  • Medication training (desirable)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable approach to shift work
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
