About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Team Leader to join our well‑established Residential & Nursing Care Home in West Byfleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and compassionate leader with strong experience in dementia care, nursing care, and senior care assistant/team leader responsibilities. You will lead the night team to ensure the highest standards of person‑centred care, safety and wellbeing for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the night care team to deliver safe, high‑quality care
  • Oversee medication administration in line with policies and regulations
  • Support residents with dementia, nursing needs and complex care requirements
  • Ensure accurate record‑keeping, care plans and handovers
  • Respond to emergencies and elevate concerns appropriately
  • Promote dignity, choice and independence for all residents
  • Maintain a calm, supportive and professional environment throughout the night
  • Work collaboratively with day staff, nurses and management teams

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader
  • Strong background in dementia care and residential/nursing care settings
  • Confident in medication administration and leading a team
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work 38.5 hours on a rolling 3‑night / 4‑night rota
