We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join a well-established nursing home in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night hours.
As a Night Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personal care and support in line with individual care plans
- Assisting residents with mobility and repositioning
- Supporting continence care and night-time routines
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting concerns to senior staff
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Responding promptly to call bells and emergencies
- Promoting dignity, independence, and respect at all times
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
- Previous experience in a care or nursing home setting preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Care Certificate (desirable but not essential)
