We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join a well-established nursing home in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night hours.

As a Night Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and support in line with individual care plans
  • Assisting residents with mobility and repositioning
  • Supporting continence care and night-time routines
  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting concerns to senior staff
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Responding promptly to call bells and emergencies
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and respect at all times
  • Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or nursing home setting preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Care Certificate (desirable but not essential)
