About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Southampton. This role is available for either day or night shifts, working 12-hour shifts (7-7) on a rota basis, including alternating weekends. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and supported at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support residents with mobility and safe transfers
  • Assist with meals and hydration
  • Promote dignity, independence, and choice
  • Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation
  • Support social activities and engagement (day shifts)
  • Provide reassurance and maintain a calm environment (night shifts)
  • Carry out light housekeeping duties as required

  • Kind, caring, and patient nature
  • Reliable and committed to high standards of care
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (training provided)
