Job Title: Support Worker – Specialist Autism & Learning Disabilities Service
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Full-time – Must be able to work days and nights
Salary: £14.30 to £15.50 per hour (depending on experience and shifts)

About the Role

We are recruiting Support Workers for a specialist autism and learning disabilities service in Nottingham. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently and achieve personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meals and household activities.
• Promote independence and confidence, supporting life skills and community participation.
• Follow care plans and PBS strategies to achieve positive outcomes.

What We\’re Looking For

Essential:

• Experience supporting people with autism and/or learning disabilities.
• Understanding of person-centred care and positive approaches to support.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A kind, patient, and reliable nature.

Desirable:

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Training in Autism Awareness, PBS, or Makaton.
• A full UK driving licence.
