About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Tilehurst and Caversham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing within the community. Flexible full-time and part-time contracts are available; however, weekend availability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation and hydration
  • Help with light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Support with shopping and attending appointments
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns
  • Promote independence, dignity, and person-centred care at all times

About You

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (desirable depending on area coverage)
  • Right to work in the UK
