About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Tilehurst and Caversham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing within the community. Flexible full-time and part-time contracts are available; however, weekend availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and hydration
- Help with light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Support with shopping and attending appointments
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns
- Promote independence, dignity, and person-centred care at all times
About You
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Must be able to work weekends
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (desirable depending on area coverage)
- Right to work in the UK
