Howard Finley Care is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker for a 3-bedded children's residential home in Bramley, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This role offers a supportive and well-structured service committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people to thrive.
Key Duties- Provide high‑quality, child‑centred care to young people with EBD, promoting positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing.
- Support young people with daily routines, education, activities, and emotional regulation.
- Work as part of a consistent staff team to maintain a safe, structured, and stable environment.
- Follow safeguarding procedures, risk assessments, and care plans in line with company policies and Ofsted standards.
- Build positive, professional relationships with young people, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a children's residential home – essential.
- Experience supporting young people with EBD – desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Children's Residential Care – preferred but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
