Home Manager – Residential & Nursing Care (Dementia)

Location: Hexham, Northumberland

Salary: £55,000 per annum + bonus (OTE up to £66,000)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a well-established care home providing residential and nursing care for older adults, including those living with dementia.
  • Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care.
  • Lead and develop the staff team; maintain full compliance with CQC requirements.
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and audits; work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
  • Proven management experience in a residential or nursing care setting
  • Nursing qualification not required, but nursing home experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care, safeguarding, and compliance
