We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a newly opened nursery in High Wycombe for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new setting at an exciting stage of growth, helping to shape a warm, nurturing, and high-quality early years environment for children to thrive. The nursery operates with extended hours to support working families, opening from 6:30am to 7:00pm, and is seeking committed practitioners who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional care and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and play
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed
- Contribute to the development of a positive team culture within a newly established nursery
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education - essential (higher salary band for those with Level 3)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
- Ability to work within the nursery's opening hours (6:30am - 7:00pm on a rota basis, you will usually begin around 7am/8am)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
