About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a well‑established Residential Dementia Care Home in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care and driving continuous improvement within the service.

You will oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring compliance, supporting staff development, and maintaining a safe, caring and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day management of the residential dementia care home
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide strong leadership, guidance and support to staff teams
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding processes
  • Maintain high standards of care, safety and resident wellbeing
  • Manage budgets, staffing levels and resource allocation
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and promote best practice
  • Support recruitment, training and ongoing staff development

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential care setting
  • Strong understanding of dementia care and person‑centred practice
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Confident leader with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage teams, budgets and service performance
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care and improving outcomes
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) - desirable
