Key Responsibilities
- Service Leadership & Operations
- Provide visible, consistent leadership across all three LD & Autism services
- Ensure services operate safely, effectively, and in line with organisational values
- Maintain oversight of staffing levels, rotas, and deployment to ensure safe care delivery
- Lead on service development, stabilisation, and continuous improvement
- Act as the senior point of escalation for operational and safeguarding matters
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and best practice guidance
- Prepare for, lead, and respond to CQC inspections and local authority audits
- Embed robust governance systems including audits, quality checks, and action plans
- Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and care records across services
- Lead safeguarding investigations and ensure timely reporting and follow-up
- Finance and Resources
- Manage service budgets, staffing costs, and resources effectively
- Monitor KPIs, occupancy, and performance indicators
- Contribute to business planning and service growth strategies
- Ensure value for money while maintaining high-quality care standards
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Adult Care)
- Proven experience managing Learning Disability and/or Autism services
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding frameworks
- Full UK driving licence (multi-site role)
