We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our supported living service. This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Team Leader looking to progress into management. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered, while promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager with the daily operational management of the service
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver high standards of care and support
  • Ensure care and support plans are person-centred, up to date, and outcomes-focused
  • Support with staff supervision, appraisals, rotas and performance management
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, and positive risk-taking
  • Act as a point of contact for families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Participate in on-call duties when required

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work towards further management qualifications if required
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker within supported living or a similar setting
  • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
