We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our supported living service. This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Team Leader looking to progress into management. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered, while promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the daily operational management of the service
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver high standards of care and support
- Ensure care and support plans are person-centred, up to date, and outcomes-focused
- Support with staff supervision, appraisals, rotas and performance management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, and positive risk-taking
- Act as a point of contact for families, professionals, and external agencies
- Participate in on-call duties when required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Willingness to work towards further management qualifications if required
- Experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker within supported living or a similar setting
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
