Job Opportunity: Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Salary: £13-15 per hour (based on experience)

We are a friendly, private dental practice in Portsmouth looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our team. The position is predominantly dental nursing with some reception duties, so candidates must be comfortable in both roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dental Nursing:
  • Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring the surgery is set up correctly.
  • Ensure the highest standards of infection control.
  • Support the dentist and patients during treatments.
• Reception Duties:
  • Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage phone calls, appointments, and patient records.
  • Handle patient inquiries and scheduling.

Requirements:

• Experience in both dental nursing and reception roles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to adapt between clinical and front desk responsibilities.
