About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Day Carer to join our team at a friendly 45-bed residential home in Haywards Heath. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of our residents by providing high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and safe transfers (using appropriate equipment where required)
- Assist with meal service and support residents with eating and drinking
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice at all times
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Support residents in social activities and encourage engagement
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
