About the Role
As Home Manager , you\’ll take full responsibility for commissioning and opening this new 65-bed home. From registration and staff recruitment to embedding care systems and creating a positive team culture, you\’ll be at the centre of building a safe, welcoming and well-run service.
You\’ll be supported by a wider regional team but expected to lead confidently and independently – with quality care, compliance, and resident experience always at the heart of your approach.
Key Responsibilities

Full commissioning of the home: CQC registration, staff hiring, and service launch

Lead the care, support and administrative teams with clarity and purpose

Oversee person-centred dementia care tailored to each resident

Maintain strong compliance and readiness for inspection

Build positive links with families, the local community, and professionals

Manage occupancy, referrals, staffing, and budgets with a commercial mindset
About You

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in residential or nursing care

Background in dementia-focused services strongly preferred

Previous commissioning or large-team leadership is a real asset

Up-to-date knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice

Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
