We're looking for an experienced, passionate Registered Manager (or a strong Deputy ready to step up) to take the reins of our lovely family-run residential dementia home in the heart of beautiful Castle Cary, Somerset (BA postcodes).
Currently rated GOOD overall with OUTSTANDING in Caring - we now want the right person to lead us all the way to Outstanding at the next inspection.
About the home & the role:
- 20+ beds - proper small-home, family feel
- All residential dementia care
- Supportive owners who genuinely care about staff and residents
- Monday-Friday contract (40 hours) with paid on-call rota (very reasonable)
- £46,000 salary (£22.11 per hour equivalent)
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays
- Real scope to put your own stamp on the home and build something special
You’ll need:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy very close to pinning) in a Good or Outstanding home
- Strong track record in dementia care
- Passion to drive to get the home to Outstanding
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willing to complete)
- Up-to-date CQC knowledge and a real 'hands-on when needed' approach
