Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Lifestyle Lead / Lead Activities Coordinator to work within our client's nursing home in Brentwood.

  • £16.50 per hour
  • 40 hours per week and alternative weekends

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and deliver meaningful, engaging and stimulating activities for all residents
  • Ensure activities align with relationship-centred care, dementia care and best-practice guidelines
  • Lead by example, motivating and inspiring staff to support and engage in activities
  • Spend around 80% of time delivering activities across all units within the home
  • Design inclusive programmes for residents with varying needs, including dementia, residential and bed-bound residents
  • Regularly review, refresh and evaluate the activities programme and its impact
  • Build strong community links with local groups, charities and external providers
  • Support the wider team in promoting the home through positive community engagement
