Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and deliver meaningful, engaging and stimulating activities for all residents
- Ensure activities align with relationship-centred care, dementia care and best-practice guidelines
- Lead by example, motivating and inspiring staff to support and engage in activities
- Spend around 80% of time delivering activities across all units within the home
- Design inclusive programmes for residents with varying needs, including dementia, residential and bed-bound residents
- Regularly review, refresh and evaluate the activities programme and its impact
- Build strong community links with local groups, charities and external providers
- Support the wider team in promoting the home through positive community engagement
