Service: 3-bedded EBD therapeutic children's home

This organisation is dedicated to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people, placing their welfare, development, and outcomes at the heart of everything they do. The home is a 3-bedded EBD service, operating within a therapeutic framework, and currently has a full staffing team in place. The service was previously closed and has since reopened, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to provide strong leadership, stability, and direction as the home moves forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the children's home
  • Ensure the service operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and legislation
  • Maintain and develop high-quality, therapeutic, child-centred care practices
  • Lead, support, and motivate an established staff team
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, audits, and continuous service improvement
  • Build positive relationships with external professionals, local authorities, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare - essential
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager registered with Ofsted - essential
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the inspection framework - essential
  • Experience managing an EBD and/or therapeutic children's home - essential
  • Confident, resilient leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care within a charitable setting
