Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working alongside a children's residential care provider in Bradford to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to support their established, GOOD-rated children's home. The service is a 3-bedded EBD home, currently supporting one child, providing an excellent opportunity for a confident Registered Manager to maintain stability, quality, and compliance while supporting the continued success of the home. The provider is looking to appoint someone as soon as possible to ensure strong leadership and continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective day-to-day leadership and management of the children's home
- Ensure the service remains fully compliant with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and legislation
- Maintain and build upon the home's current GOOD Ofsted rating
- Lead on Regulation 44 processes, audits, and quality assurance
- Support staff development and maintain high standards of therapeutic, child-centred care
- Work closely with external professionals, local authorities, and senior leadership
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare - essential
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care - essential
- Strong working knowledge of Regulation 44 and Ofsted regulations - essential
- Experience managing EBD services - essential
- Confident, organised, and proactive leader able to support a service effectively
