This is an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager looking to lead a stable solo home and drive high-quality, child-centred care within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, developing staff, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Key Duties

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the children's residential home.
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Lead, support, and develop staff to deliver outstanding standards of care and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Maintain effective care planning, risk management, and behaviour support strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.
  • Build positive relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care – essential
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
  • Strong experience supporting young people with EBD needs – essential
  • Proven knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices – essential
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
