Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working in partnership with a specialist care provider to recruit Residential Support Workers for a residential service based in Birkenhead. The service supports young people and adults aged between 16 and 30 with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges. The provider places a strong emphasis on consistency and relationship‑based care, recognising the importance of stable staffing in supporting long‑term progress and positive outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for committed and compassionate Residential Support Workers who are passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs and who value long‑term involvement within a service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care tailored to the individual needs of residents
- Support residents with daily living skills, routines, and personal development
- Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour support
- Maintain accurate daily records and contribute to care planning
- Work collaboratively as part of a consistent and supportive staff team
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities - preferred
- Ideally at least 1 year's experience working in the same setting with individuals with learning disabilities - desirable
- Demonstrated longevity and commitment in previous roles - essential
- Qualifications in Health and Social Care are preferred but not essential
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing consistent, high‑quality care
