We are a Midlands based manufacturer who are undergoing significant growth due to the global demand for our products. As a result of expansion and a major site relocation, we are looking to strengthen our purchasing department with a professional Buyer.
You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to continuously develop our supply chains as well as get involved with procurement support for the factory move.
This is a great opportunity for someone to have a real positive impact on the business through closely managing material spend, proactively developing established global supply chains and improving materials control from supplier to shop floor.

Requirements:
Experience within a manufacturing purchasing environment
An understanding of logistics and import terms
Education: Degree or equivalent in business or supply chain management, with active / CIPS study or full membership to level 4.
Supplier management and SLA monitoring
Software: Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Working knowledge and experience of MS B.I. tools and Excel data analysis
