Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Commercial Director.
  • The day-to-day running of the site ensuring all procedures and processes are carried out in a safe and cost-efficient manner.
  • Co-ordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Carrying out daily toolbox talks.
  • Liaising with the Works Manager to align delivery with site requirements.
  • Providing accurate setting-out information to the design office.
  • Planning labour requirements in accordance with deliveries and site conditions.
  • Attending site meetings with the main contractor and architects.
  • Co-ordinating the booking in of deliveries.
  • Organising the hiring, delivery/collection of plant as required.
  • Completing installations to be defect and snag free.
  • Weekend/night working may be required occasionally on certain projects.

Qualifications

  • Good computing skills including MS Office.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card.
  • Certified First Aider or willingness to be trained.
